Three Days of Darkness candle is made of 100% pure beeswax in a glass container, and burns for 3 days or 72 (+) hours. These candles have been tested in a continuous burn cycle during the quality control process. By purchasing your candles from the Virgo Sacrata, you are agreeing that you have read “My Candle Care & Safety Tips“, and agree to the Virgo Sacrata’s “terms and conditions“.

Please note: Our beeswax candles will develop “bloom” over time, as crystal-lke frost thin-film will appear over the candle. Bloomed beeswax candles have a beauty of their own. This is also an indicator of purity of our candles. If you want your candle fresh looking, you can take a soft cloth and rub the bloom off, or run warm water over the candle and then dry it. Candles in the glass containers can be treated by blowing warm air inside. The “bloom” does not affect the quality of burning of your candle.

“The candles of blessed wax alone will give light during this horrible darkness. One candle alone will be enough for the duration of this night of Hell …In the homes of the wicked and blasphemers these candles will give no light.” ~ The Breton Stigmatist, p. 45.

Three Days of Darkness

The most spectacular aspect of the Act of God will be the three days of darkness over the whole earth. The Three Days have been announced by Catholic prophets St. Caspar del Bufulo, Blessed Anna Maria Taigi, Blessed Elizabeth Canori-Mora and Blessed Mary of Jesus Crucified. The Church does not oblige us to believe in any particular prophecy as a matter of faith [de fide], but we are indeed obliged to believe that prophecies may be made even in our own times, for this is in the Gospel [Evangelium]: the Holy Ghost will speak to many in the Latter Days. Prophecy is intended to change our behavior to conform to the will of God.

“I form the light, and create darkness, I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord that do all these things.” (Isaiah 45:7)

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and injustice of those men that detain the truth of God in injustice.” (Romans 1:18)

“Take heed to yourselves, lest perhaps your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and the cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly. For as a snare shall it come upon all that sit upon the face of the whole earth.”   (St. Luke  21.34-36)

Three Days of Darkness prophecy is attributed to Blessed Anna-Maria Taigi:

God will send two punishments: one will be in the form of wars, revolutions and other evils; it shall originate on earth. The other will be sent from Heaven. There shall come over the whole earth an intense darkness lasting three days and three nights. Nothing can be seen, and the air will be laden with pestilence which will claim mainly, but not only, the enemies of religion. It will be impossible to use any man-made lighting during this darkness, except blessed wax candles. He, who out of curiosity, opens his window to look out, or leaves his home, will fall dead on the spot. During these three days, people should remain in their homes, pray the Rosary and beg God for mercy.

All the enemies of the Church, whether known or unknown, will perish over the whole earth during that universal darkness, with the exception of a few whom God will soon convert. The air shall be infected by demons who will appear under all sorts of hideous forms.”

Blessed Anna Maria Taigi predicted a major and as of yet still forthcoming Chastisement for the world on account of its grave sins.

Here are the proximate signs in their probable order of occurrence:

  1. Flouting of church laws, modernism, religious liberalism, false doctrines, irreverence and immodesty in church, fall in attendance at church, church closings, and churches for sale.
  2. Lack of charity towards others, heartlessness, indifference, divisions, contentions, godlessness, rebellion against God (“They did not repent”), pride in human knowledge.
  3. Breakdown of family life: immorality, adultery of all forms, perversion of youth, narcotics legalization, abortion, euthanization of humans, immodest fashions, people concerned only with eating, drinking, and other pleasures.
  4. Civil commotions, contempt for authority, the downfall of governments, confusion in high places, corruption, coups d’etat, civil war, revolution.
  5. Floods and droughts, crop failures, unusual weather, tornadoes, earthquakes, tidal waves, famines, epidemics, unknown diseases (e.g. new strains of viruses).

“Because the wicked shall perish. And the enemies of the Lord, presently after they shall be honoured and exalted, shall come to nothing and vanish like smoke.” (Psalms 36:20)

“Behold, the day of the Lord shall come, a cruel day, and full of indignation, and of wrath, and fury, to lay the land desolate, and to destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven, and their brightness shall not display their light: the sun shall be darkened in his rising, and the moon shall not shine with her light. And I will visit the evils of the world, and against the wicked for their iniquity: and I will make the pride of infidels to cease, and will bring down the arrogancy of the mighty.” (Isaiah 13: 9-11).

stella marisAs it was in the time of Noe, as it was in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, so shall it be upon your earth. Man shall be permitted to fall fast into the abyss. Why? Because he has hardened his heart and closed his ears to the truth. He has given himself to all manners of pleasures of the flesh. Sin has become a way of life in your country and in the countries throughout your earth.

“Truly we are passing through disastrous times, when we may well make our own the lamentation of the Prophet: “There is no truth, and there is no mercy, and there is no knowledge of God in the land” (Hosea 4:1). Yet in the midst of this tide of evil, the Virgin Most Merciful rises before our eyes like a rainbow, as the arbiter of peace between God and man.”
